The scope focused exclusively on architectural elements, with no structural or detailed internal MEP modelling required. The existing building was modelled as “existing” condition, with no demolition phase represented. No work in the loft was required and no joists or beams included.
Key architectural components such as walls, openings, radiators, sanitary fixtures, and rain pipes and downpipes were modelled using standard Revit library items of appropriate size. General massing for kitchen cabinets was included to support spatial understanding.
The external context was modelled to include garden levels extending 3 meters around the property, along with boundary elements such as garden fencing. Rainwater pipes and downpipes were incorporated to reflect external drainage arrangements. Vegetation was excluded from the scope, as it was not required for design coordination.
The final deliverables included a coordinated LOD 3 architectural Revit model, suitable for design development and coordination through Stages 4 and 5. The model provides a reliable architectural baseline for the proposed side extension and associated internal adjustments, supporting future drawing production and council approval processes.
